Jakarta, November 13, 2024 – The Faculty of Law Universitas Trisakti proudly presents the third Dissemination of Trisakti Law Student Research (DIKTUM TRISAKTI #3) as part of Universitas Trisakti’s 59th Anniversary celebration. This event, which combines a National Seminar and a Call for Papers, aims to provide a platform for students and academics to broaden their knowledge and contribute meaningfully to the legal field.

This year’s National Seminar addresses the theme, “Indonesia’s Role in International Diplomacy: Seeking Solutions for the Israel-Palestine Conflict,” focusing on Indonesia’s strategic role in global diplomacy and its active contribution to resolving this complex and longstanding issue.

The event begins with opening remarks from the Keynote Speaker:

• Dr. Dra. Siti Nurbaiti, S.H., M.H. – Dean of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Trisakti

Seminar Speakers:

• Akhmad Masbukhin, M.S.I (Middle East Function Coordinator, Policy Strategy Center, Asia Pacific and Africa, Ministry of Foreign Affairs) – Discussing Indonesia’s diplomatic perspective and the challenges in advocating for international peace.
• Shofwan Al Banna Choiruzzad, B.Soc.Sc., M.A., Ph.D. (Lecturer of International Relations, FISIP, University of Indonesia) – Examining geopolitical influences and Indonesia’s role as a bridge between nations.
• Bhatara Ibnu Reza, S.H., M.Si., LL.M., Ph.D. (Lecturer, Faculty of Law, Universitas Trisakti) – Providing insights from an international law perspective on the Israel-Palestine conflict.

Moderator: The discussion will be moderated by Adifyan Rahmat Asga, S.H., LL.M., a lecturer at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Trisakti, who will guide the discourse, offering a rich and in-depth perspective.

Following the seminar, a Call for Papers session with the theme “Achieving Justice in the Era of Transnational Law” invites student participants to present their research papers, either individually or in groups. This activity is expected to inspire academic enthusiasm and enrich the understanding of law in the era of globalization.

All academic papers presented during the Call for Papers will be published as a compilation book, serving as documentation and an academic contribution by the students.
