On Monday, February 19, 2024, at the Seminar Room on the 12th floor of Building M, Campus A, the Career Center of Universitas Trisakti held an event marking various achievements in the Alumni field. The event included the dissemination of results from the Tracer Study conducted in 2023 and the launch of the Tracer Study 2024.
Tracer Study is a research conducted by universities to track and study the success of alumni in finding jobs after graduation. The results of this research are crucial for universities to continuously improve the curriculum and prepare students for the workforce.
The dissemination results from the Tracer Study 2023 showed that the majority of Universitas Trisakti alumni have successfully obtained jobs. As many as 87% of the 2023 graduates managed to secure employment within 2 to 3 months after graduation. This indicates that the curriculum implemented by Universitas Trisakti has successfully prepared students to enter the workforce effectively.
Furthermore, Tracer Study 2023 also indicated that the average starting salary of Universitas Trisakti alumni exceeded 1.2 times the Regional Minimum Wage (UMR), with an average income reaching Rp7,681,575 for bachelor’s degrees and Rp13,039,495 for postgraduate degrees. This demonstrates that the university not only provides quality education but also assists alumni in obtaining decent employment.
The launch of Tracer Study 2024 was also highlighted in the event. Tracer Study 2024 will be conducted using more sophisticated and comprehensive methods, thus expected to provide more accurate and detailed information about alumni’s success in finding jobs.
The Vice Rector I of Universitas Trisakti, Prof. Ir. Asri Nugrahanti, M.S., Ph.D., IPU., stated that the results of Tracer Study 2023 and the launch of Tracer Study 2024 are tangible evidence of the university’s commitment to providing quality and market-relevant education. With the information obtained from Tracer Study, the university can continue to improve the quality of education and prepare students to become successful professionals in the future.
The launch of Tracer Study 2024 and the dissemination of results from Tracer Study 2023 are expected to be significant milestones in improving the quality of education at Universitas Trisakti and helping alumni achieve success in the job market.
