CURRICULUM BENCHMARKING SERIES ON OBE BY THE FACULTY OF DENTISTRY, UNIVERSITAS TRISAKTI, TO VARIOUS IPDGs IN INDONESIA

The Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Trisakti (FKG Usakti), conducted a series of curriculum benchmarking visits focused on Outcome-Based Education (OBE) to the Faculties of Dentistry at Universitas Padjadjaran, Universitas Indonesia, and Universitas Airlangga.

The delegation from FKG Usakti included:

• Dr. drg. Yohana Yusra, M.Kes. – Vice Dean I
• Drg. Ade Prijanti, Sp.KG(K), Ph.D. – Head of the Undergraduate Dentistry Program
• Dr. drg. Tri Putriany Agustin, Sp.KGA – Head of the Professional Dentist Education Program
• Dr. drg. Muhammad Ihsan Rizal, M.Kes. – Head of the Master’s Program in Dental Sciences
• Dr. drg. Meini Faudah Amin, Sp.KG(K) – Head of the Specialist Program in Conservative Dentistry
• Prof. drg. Rahmi Amtha, MDS., Sp.PM(K), Ph.D. – Head of the Doctoral Program in Dental Sciences

The benchmarking series began with a visit to the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Padjadjaran in Bandung on May 6, 2025. It continued with a visit to the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Indonesia on May 26, 2025, followed by a visit to Universitas Airlangga in Surabaya on May 18, 2025.

The agenda of this benchmarking initiative was to engage in discussions in preparation for professional curriculum reconstruction aligned with the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology Regulation (Permendikbud) No. 53 of 2023.

This activity is expected to facilitate meaningful dialogue and the exchange of valuable information to support the formulation of an OBE-based curriculum reconstruction, contributing to the advancement of dental education at Universitas Trisakti.
