Jakarta Old Town, with its historical heritage and classic architecture, welcomed a collaboration between students from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Sarawak, Malaysia, and the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning (FTSP) as well as the Faculty of and Design (FSRD) Universitas Trisakti.

On Thursday, May 30, 2024, the students gathered in Jakarta Old Town to express its beauty and charm through urban sketching art. This collaborative project aimed to explore the cultural and historical richness embedded in every corner of Jakarta Old Town while strengthening cultural and academic exchange between the two countries.

In addition to the delegation of UiTM students, the event was also attended by Arief Fadhilah, S.T., M.T. (Secretary of the Architecture Department), and two FTSP students, R. A. Heryani Wahyuningrum, S.Sn., M.Sn, and two FSRD students.

This collaboration is a tangible example of how art and education can bridge cultures and countries. By combining the expertise and perspectives from two different countries, this project not only produced remarkable artworks but also enriched the intercultural experiences and understanding among the participants.
