Jakarta, September 20, 2024 – Universitas Trisakti successfully hosted the “Closing of UNIIC Demo Day 2024,” an international forum designed to facilitate collaboration among business incubators from various countries across Asia and Africa. The event, held on Friday, September 20, 2024, was attended by Vice Rector IV of Universitas Trisakti, Prof. Dr. drg. Tri Erri Astoeti, M.Kes., FISDPH., FISPD, and Vice Rector III, Ir. Yoska Oktaviano, MT. A warm welcome was provided by the Trisakti Drum Corps, which accompanied the arrival of international delegates on campus.

In her speech, Prof. Dr. drg. Tri Erri Astoeti highlighted the significance of events like UNIIC Demo Day in advancing the global entrepreneurial ecosystem.

“This event is a great opportunity for participants to establish cross-border collaborations, exchange ideas, and explore innovative business solutions. Trisakti is proud to host a platform that brings together creative minds from around the world,” said Prof. Erri.

UNIIC Demo Day 2024 not only focused on business aspects but also emphasized cultural exchange. Over the course of four days, the delegates participated in various activities such as seminars, workshops, and presentations of their creative and innovative ideas. This was followed by a visit to the Trisakti May 12th Tragedy Museum, commemorating the struggle of Trisakti students during this historic event. The visit served as a moment of reflection for the delegates.

The event concluded with a Jakarta city tour, offering the international delegates a cultural experience. They visited various historical landmarks and iconic sites in Jakarta, providing them an opportunity to learn more about Indonesia’s culture and historical heritage.

UNIIC Demo Day 2024 demonstrated how international collaboration can drive innovation across sectors, while also fostering essential cross-cultural understanding in an increasingly interconnected world. This event further strengthened Universitas Trisakti’s position as an educational institution actively nurturing young entrepreneurs and future innovators.
