Civil Engineering Master’s Program Lecturer and Vice Dean IV of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning at Universitas Trisakti Secures Patent for Innovative Floating Solar Panel

Universitas Trisakti proudly celebrates another outstanding achievement through the innovative work of one of its esteemed faculty members, Dr. Ir. Lisa Oksri Nelfia, ST., MSc, IPU, who currently serves as Vice Dean IV of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning (FTSP). Dr. Nelfia and her team have successfully obtained a Standard Patent (IDP000098503) for their invention titled “Floating Solar Panel Platform Made of Self-Compacting Concrete and Its Composition.” This invention is the result of a remarkable interdisciplinary collaboration between FTSP Trisakti, the Faculty of Industrial Technology (FTI Trisakti), and the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), particularly the Structural Strength Technology Research Center.

This innovation marks a significant breakthrough in the fields of renewable energy and construction technology. The floating solar panel platform is engineered using a specially designed floating concrete with self-compacting properties, making it highly suitable for Indonesia’s aquatic environments as a forward-looking solution for sustainable solar energy utilization.

This achievement not only highlights Dr. Nelfia’s dedication to academic excellence and research but also exemplifies Universitas Trisakti’s commitment to advancing science and technology in ways that bring tangible benefits to society.

The Rector and the entire academic community of Universitas Trisakti extend their warmest congratulations and best wishes for continued success. May this invention serve as a source of inspiration for lecturers, researchers, and students to continue creating and innovating.
