Dr. Bambang Soesatyo, S.E., S.H., MBA, the Chairman of MPR RI, supports Universitas Trisakti’s initiative to open master’s programs in notary and Environmental Engineering. Various stages and processes have already been completed at the Ministry of Education and Culture; now, the final steps involve the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, as stated during his visit to Universitas Trisakti on Friday, December 21, 2023.

During this meeting, he expressed that a master’s program in notary is highly needed to allow undergraduate law students, both from within Universitas Trisakti, and external applicants, who are interested in pursuing a notary profession to further their education. The importance of notaries is crucial in creating legal certainty for the social and economic life of the community.

“Similarly, the Master’s in Environmental Engineering is also in high demand. Apart from the high interest of students, the capacity of the university that offers the Environmental Engineering Master’s degree program is still limited. If the operational permit from the Ministry of Law and Human Rights can be resolved promptly, Universitas Trisakti will become the first private university to have a Master’s program in Environmental Engineering,” Bamsoet stated.

During this occasion, the Secretary of Trisakti Foundation, DR. H.M. Dimyati, Treasurer of Trisakti Foundation, Lukman Effendi SE, MM., Rector Prof. Dr. Ir. Kadarsah Suryadi, DEA., Vice Rector II, Prof. Dr. Khomsiyah, Ak, CA, FCMA, CGMA, CRIB., Acting Vice Rector III, Ir. Yoska Oktaviano, MT., Vice Rector IV, Prof. Dr. drg. Tri Erri Astoeti, M.Kes., along with the deans within Universitas Trisakti and students from Usakti were present.

“With the various achievements it has, Universitas Trisakti is assured in opening the Master’s in Notary and Master’s in Environmental Engineering. Besides the managerial aspect, the quality of education is also expected to be guaranteed. Therefore, it can contribute to producing high-quality and competitive human resources,” Bamsoet added.
