Career Center of Universitas Trisakti (Usakti) once again organized a career guidance event on Saturday, September 21, 2024. This event was held online in collaboration with Pertamina in 2 Me, a program initiated by practitioners and volunteers from the Pertamina Group who are committed to education in Indonesia. The event aimed to provide students with insights into the dynamics of the working environment and technological developments in the energy industry. With increasing competition in the job market, Universitas Trisakti’s Career Center seeks to help its students prepare effectively, particularly in facing recruitment challenges.

Tips and Tricks for a Successful Interview and CV Review

Several experienced speakers participated in the event. Ade Barkah and Donny Uyung shared a presentation on Interview Tips and Tricks, where they explained key preparations that job applicants should make when facing a job interview, including effective communication skills and strategies for answering difficult questions.

Following this, Royan Nur Huda delivered equally important material on CV Review. In this session, participants were guided on how to create an attractive and professional CV, while also highlighting common mistakes frequently found in CV creation.

To conclude the session, Aaan Kurniawan gave a presentation on the Company Recruitment Process, explaining the stages typically undergone by job applicants, from administrative selection to the final interview. This session aimed to give participants a comprehensive understanding of how companies recruit employees and the key criteria companies, especially in the energy industry, look for in candidates.

Through the collaboration between Universitas Trisakti and Pertamina in 2 Me, it is hoped that students will become better equipped to face the working world and enhance their competitiveness in an increasingly demanding job market.
