Jakarta, October 10, 2025 — The Creative Mentorship Program (BIMKRAF) 2025 of the Faculty of Art and Design (FSRD) Universitas Trisakti once again held an inspiring creative activity. This second workshop, titled “SAMAan (Sablon Bersama Teman)”, served as a platform for exploring natural printing techniques, using organic materials such as leaves and flowers as print media. 🌿

Held at the Gallery, N Building, 1st Floor, the workshop was specially designed for FSRD students of the 2025 cohort. During the session, participants were guided to experiment hands-on with textile printing techniques — applying fabric paint onto leaves using sponges, toothbrushes, and combs, then pressing them onto plain white t-shirts to create unique works that combine creativity with environmental awareness.

The “SAMAan” workshop was led by FSRD lecturer, Dra. Indralaksmi, M.Ds, who provided technical guidance and facilitated a creative discussion on the processes and potential of artworks based on natural materials.

As part of the BIMKRAF program, this workshop series aims to equip new students with cross-media artistic experience and a contextual approach to culture and technology. Following the first workshop, where students explored the intersection between artificial intelligence and traditional art through the theme “AIYank (AI & Wayang)”, the second workshop focused on fostering a collaborative and eco-friendly spirit.

With the enthusiasm for collaboration, experimentation, and sustainability, BIMKRAF 2025 continues to serve as an inspiring platform for FSRD Universitas Trisakti students to grow into adaptive and visionary artists and designers.
