The Faculty of Art and Design (FSRD) of Universitas Trisakti held a program called “Bimbingan Kreatif” or BIMKRAF, organized by the FSRD Student Association. The event began on Friday, 12 September 2025, with an AI Yank workshop that combined elements of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and traditional Wayang (Indonesian shadow puppetry). AI Yank serves as an innovative medium that integrates manual drawing skills with AI technology.

In the first session, new students participated in the AI Yank Workshop led by the BIMKRAF Chairperson, I Made Deva Widhi Ardhana, who introduced the history of Wayang. The speaker also gave a live demonstration of creating artwork and showcased several pre-prepared examples. Participants were encouraged to freely express their own Wayang character designs through manual drawing. Completed artworks were collected for evaluation. At the end of the session, the speaker provided tips and techniques on transforming manual drawings into animated images using AI technology.

The event was officially opened by the Vice Dean III of FSRD Universitas Trisakti, Susy Irma Adisurya, S.Sn., M.Ds., who stated that BIMKRAF 2025 is not only about developing artistic skills, but also about offering a refreshing break from daily academic routines and building stronger connections among senior students and peers from various study programs. The program is expected to provide a supportive platform for new students to express their creativity.

Through BIMKRAF 2025, new students are not only introduced to local culture and trained in manual drawing, but also encouraged to develop ideas, collaborate, and integrate technology into their creative processes.
