The Faculty of Arts and Design (FSRD) Universitas Trisakti is organizing a creative mentoring program called “Bimbingan Kreatif” or BIMKRAF, initiated by the FSRD Student Association. The event kicked off on Friday, September 13, 2024, and will be held monthly until the end of the year. The activities include the Pincangin Workshop, Pegelino Workshop, Sukaria Workshop, and the BIMKRAF closing ceremony. According to Rasyad Maliki Sukma, Chairperson of BIMKRAF 2024, this program serves as a gateway to build connections and foster friendships between new and active FSRD students.

In the first session, new students participated in the Pincangin Workshop, led by speakers Fitrah Budi Rendiandara and Tiara Hanjani Putri N., where they guided participants in creating pins and wind chimes, offering various tips along the way. The speakers also demonstrated the process of making these creations and showcased examples prepared by the organizing team. Participants were encouraged to freely express their own designs and patterns, using recycled materials they had brought. Completed works were then collected for evaluation.

Susy Irma Adisurya, S.Sn., M.Ds., Deputy Dean III of FSRD Usakti, attended the opening ceremony and emphasized that BIMKRAF 2024 is not only about developing artistic skills but also an opportunity to break away from academic routines and strengthen bonds with senior students and peers from different study programs. This event is expected to provide a supportive space where new students can channel their creativity.

One of the highlights of BIMKRAF 2024 is a fashion show scheduled for December 2024 as part of the closing ceremony. The works created by FSRD students will be showcased to the public. BIMKRAF 2024 is anticipated to become a highly anticipated event among new FSRD Usakti students each month, serving as a platform to strengthen student relationships and promote artistic creativity within the campus environment.
