On Thursday, July 18, 2024, Universitas Trisakti proudly hosted the International Anti-Narcotics Day Seminar with the theme “A Drug-Free Youth for Indonesia 2045”. The event took place at Buildings F and G, 8th Floor, Universitas Trisakti, Jakarta, starting at 9:00 AM WIB. The seminar was opened by Ir. Yoska Oktaviano, MT, Vice Rector III, who in his speech highlighted the important role of the youth in creating positive change among students, particularly in terms of preventing and combating drug abuse.

The event also featured a presentation by Brig. Gen. Pol. Dr. R. Nurhadi Yuwono, S.I.K., M.Si CHRMP, Head of the National Narcotics Agency (BNNP) of Jakarta. The material presented included strategies for prevention, education, rehabilitation, and policies supporting a drug-free Indonesia. Following the presentation, there was a question and answer session.

This seminar is expected to be an important momentum to mobilize all parties to actively participate and work together to create a resilient, healthy, and productive young generation free from drug abuse.
