AIPKI Holds 2025–2028 Working Meeting at FK Usakti, Focusing on Collaboration and Innovation in Medical Education

Jakarta, July 22, 2025 — The Association of Indonesian Medical Education Institutions (AIPKI) held its Central Executive Board Working Meeting for the 2025–2028 period at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Trisakti, under the theme “Strengthening Collaboration and Innovation.” The event aimed to formulate strategic policy directions to enhance the quality of national medical education.

Prof. Kadarsah Suryadi, Rector of Universitas Trisakti, emphasized the importance of adaptive and innovative transformation in education. Prof. Wisnu Barlianto, Chair of AIPKI, reaffirmed AIPKI’s commitment to promoting equitable access to quality medical education in line with the government’s target of producing 60,000 doctors and subspecialists by 2029.

The meeting discussed several priority programs, including:

  • Digitalization of competency-based learning modules
  • Faculty and student exchange programs
  • Collaborative research initiatives
  • Global partnerships for curriculum development
  • Strengthening the quality of teaching hospitals and healthcare services in underdeveloped, frontier, and outermost (3T) areas

AIPKI also urged stronger government support for educational institutions and the standardization of national education systems and competency examinations.

With cross-sector collaboration, AIPKI is confident in its ability to produce professional, compassionate, and highly ethical doctors capable of meeting the nation’s healthcare challenges.
