Jakarta, July 15, 2025 — Universitas Trisakti proudly hosted the AIGIS Goes to Campus 2025 event at the Auditorium, 8th Floor, Building D, Campus A, carrying the theme “Innovation, Greenpreneurship & Sustainability Communication.” This initiative is part of a collaborative effort between AIGIS and Toyota to drive green transformation by engaging the younger generation—particularly university students—in eco-friendly innovation and sustainable entrepreneurship.

In his opening remarks, the Rector of Universitas Trisakti, Prof. Dr. Ir. Kadarsah Suryadi, DEA, emphasized the importance of synergy among academia, industry, and government in building a sustainable future.

“We fully support this collaboration between Universitas Trisakti, Toyota, and the government through this initiative to promote innovation and the development of environmentally conscious human resources. Such collaboration is a tangible step toward delivering green solutions grounded in science, technology, and the spirit of entrepreneurship,” he stated.

The event was officially opened with the symbolic presentation of vests to Vice Rector III of Universitas Trisakti, Ir. Yoska Oktaviano, M.T., Head of the Agency for Standardization and Industrial Services Policy (BSKJI), Mr. Andi Rizaldi, and Director of Technical & TGA Office at PT Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia, Widjanarko.

The event kicked off with the announcement of the top three winners of the AIGIS Green Scientific Competition at Universitas Trisakti.

  • First place was awarded to a team from the Industrial Engineering Program (FTI) for their project titled “Chitostone: Smart Adsorption Innovation Using Chitosan”, comprising Nadinda Nathasya, Fairuz Arwa Rizqullah, and Cahya Restu Anjarsari.

  • Third place was awarded to a collaborative team from the Industrial Engineering and Informatics Engineering Programs (FTI) for their project “Solar-Powered Electric Vehicle Platform”, comprising Saskia Cantika Aditya, Gracia Cinthya Martin, and M. Fadhil Ramadhan.

The program continued with a keynote speech by Mr. Andi Rizaldi, Head of BSKJI, Ministry of Industry, who highlighted the importance of strengthening the green industry ecosystem in Indonesia, starting with small-scale innovations on campus. He emphasized that sustainability is not just a slogan, but a national industrial policy direction that requires the active participation of the younger generation.

Participants were then treated to a TED Talk by PT Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia, themed “Green Product Innovation & Green Jobs Opportunity”. This was followed by two Green Talks sessions discussing topics such as green product innovation, green entrepreneurship, and the role of digital communication in environmental campaigns. Speakers included representatives from the Green Industry Center, Toyota, Universitas Trisakti academics, and young environmental figures.

Carrying the spirit of “Future Green Begins,” AIGIS and Universitas Trisakti aim to foster a generation of young individuals who are proactive, environmentally conscious, and actively involved in shaping the future of green industry in Indonesia.
