On Wednesday, February 7, 2024, Universitas Trisakti welcomed an accreditation visitation team to assess the quality and performance of the University Library. The team, consisting of leading experts and practitioners in the fields of library science and education, arrived on campus to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the facilities and services provided by the library.

In her address, Universitas Trisakti’s Vice Rector I, Prof. Ir. Asri Nugrahanti, M.S., Ph.D., IPU, stated, “We are very enthusiastic about the arrival of the accreditation team to assess the quality of our library services. The library is an integral part of our higher education institution, and we are committed to providing the best resources and services to students, faculty, and the general public.”

The assessors, led by Drs. Supriyanto, M.Si., Director of Standardization and Accreditation at the National Library, and Renda Khris Ardhi Artha, S.Sos., M.Si., will conduct a rigorous assessment of various aspects of the library, including book collections and reference materials, information technology infrastructure, user support services, library management, and staff qualifications.

During this visitation conducted by the assessment team, Universitas Trisakti Library Director, Dra. Diana Ganefa D., personally accompanied them and directly reviewed all the facilities at Universitas Trisakti Library.

This evaluation aims to ensure that Universitas Trisakti Library meets the standards set by the National Accreditation Agency for Higher Education (BAN-PT) in providing quality services to all stakeholders. Meeting national standards from the Indonesian National Library in providing excellent services to the entire academic community of Trisakti University.

After the evaluation, the visitation team will compile a report containing recommendations and assessments of the library’s quality. This report will serve as a basis for Universitas Trisakti to make necessary improvements and enhancements to ensure the library remains a relevant and beneficial source of information for all stakeholders.

Universitas Trisakti hopes that the results of this accreditation will strengthen their library’s reputation as one of the leading ones in Indonesia and reinforce their commitment to continuously improve the quality of higher education services.
