Jakarta, September 3, 2025 – Universitas Trisakti held a Product Curation Program for Resilient SMEs fostered by the university in collaboration with SMESCO Indonesia, at Building M, Universitas Trisakti. This initiative marks a concrete step in supporting the development and improvement of the quality of Trisakti’s fostered SMEs so they can compete in both national and international markets.

The event was officially opened by Ir. Yoska Oktaviano, MT, Vice Rector III of Universitas Trisakti and Advisor of Resilient SMEs, who emphasized the university’s commitment to continuously promote innovation and entrepreneurship among students and alumni, including strengthening SMEs as drivers of the national economy.

Following this, Doddy Akhmadsyah Matondang, President Director of SMESCO Indonesia and an alumnus of the Faculty of Industrial Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Universitas Trisakti, delivered his remarks. He also shared insights on the importance of creativity, innovation, and collaboration in building a strong and competitive SME ecosystem.

The event also welcomed government representatives, including Muhammad Qodari, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, who highlighted the vital role of universities in supporting government policies on strengthening SMEs and the creative economy sector in Indonesia.

Also in attendance was Ancilla Yanny Irmella, Advisor of Resilient SMEs. The program received an enthusiastic response from participants, consisting of Trisakti’s fostered SME entrepreneurs, students, and strategic partners from various industries. They engaged in product curation, discussions, and business networking sessions.

This program served as a strategic platform for Trisakti’s fostered SMEs to receive assessments, feedback, and networking opportunities. A variety of outstanding products, particularly in the food and beverage sector, were showcased and evaluated by a professional curation team from SMESCO.

Through this initiative, Universitas Trisakti reaffirms its commitment to nurturing competitive young entrepreneurs who are ready to contribute to the nation’s economic growth.
