News from the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Trisakti (FKG Usakti)

The 5th Indonesia Symposium of Forensic Odontology was held once again on June 1–3, 2025, in Sanur, Bali. As part of the event series, the 1st IFOS (Indonesia Forensic Odontology Student) Olympiad was officially launched—the first nationwide Forensic Odontology Olympiad in Indonesia.

Universitas Trisakti’s Faculty of Dentistry (FKG Usakti) proudly secured 3rd place in this inaugural competition. This event marks a significant milestone in the field, and FKG Usakti was honored to take part in the historic birth of the Forensic Odontology Olympiad.

The FKG Usakti Forensic Odontology team was guided by drg. Rizki Tanjung, MM, M.Si, MARS, Sp.OF and Siti Salsabila Kirana, SKG, M.Si, and consisted of student team members:

• Budiman

The successful organization of this first Olympiad is expected to continue in the years to come and aims to foster greater interest and advancement in Forensic Odontology among dental students across Indonesia—especially at FKG Usakti.
