Dudy Purwagandhi began his professional career as a Staff of Assistant to the Board of Directors at PT Tri Usaha Bhakti Truba (Holding) in 1997. He later held director positions at PT Jhonlin Marine Trans, PT Dua Samudera Perkasa, and Seacons Trading Limited in Singapore. Dudy also had experience in government service as a Special Staff to the Minister for Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (Menpan-RB) from 2018 to 2019 and served as a Commissioner on the Board of Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) in 2020.

Dudy’s political career took off when he was appointed Deputy Treasurer of the National Campaign Team (TKN) for the Indonesia Maju Coalition during the 2019 Presidential Election. A 1995 graduate of the Faculty of Law Universitas Trisakti, Dudy Purwagandhi has now been selected by President Prabowo Subianto to serve as Minister of Transportation in the Kabinet Merah Putih for the 2024–2029 term.
