Dr. dr. Nova Riyanti Yusuf, SpKJ is a psychiatrist, author, and politician. She served as a member of the People’s Representative Council (DPR) for the 2009-2014 period. Nova has also produced 13 written works including novels, essay collections, screenplays for feature films, memoirs, and her latest book published is “Exploring the Soul Erasing Stigma: Psychological Autopsy of the Suicide of Two Painters” (JJHS) by Kompas Book Publisher. The JJHS book itself is currently being adapted into a film by Falcon Pictures with dr. NoRiYu as the screenplay writer for the JJHS film.

Now, born on November 27, 1977, Nova, who is an alumna of the Faculty of Medicine Universitas Trisakti, is actively working as a Specialist Doctor in Psychiatry. Nova Riyanti Yusuf is also known to serve as the Chairman of the Universitas Trisakti Faculty of Medicine Alumni Association for the period 2021 to 2025.
