National Seminar Hijau Jakartaku 2025: Driving Landscape Innovation and Sustainable Urban Development

Jakarta – The Student Association of the Landscape Architecture Department, Faculty of Landscape Architecture and Environmental Technology (FALTL), Universitas Trisakti, successfully held the National Seminar Hijau Jakartaku 2025 carrying the theme “Towards Sustainable Living Through Green Innovation” on Friday, 12 September 2025 at Building K, Universitas Trisakti.

This seminar served as a platform for academics, students, and professionals to share knowledge and ideas on landscape innovation and efforts to promote sustainable urban development.

The seminar opened with welcoming remarks from Bagas Argya Syhabuddin as the Event Chair, followed by Muhammad Fauzi Adi Nugroho as the Chair of BPHMJ-AL 2024/2025, and concluding remarks by Dr. Rini Fitri, S.P., M.Si., Head of the Landscape Architecture Study Program, FALTL Universitas Trisakti.

The discussion was moderated by Dibyanti Danniswari, S.P., M.Si., M.Agr., Ph.D.P., IALI, who guided the entire session effectively.

The first presentation was delivered by Bagas Argya Syhabuddin and Muhammad Fauzi Adi Nugroho, discussing Urban Ecosystem Restoration through Eco-Restoration Parks, highlighting the importance of student-driven innovation in designing green open spaces that can revitalize urban ecosystems.

The next speaker, Dr. Ir. Silia Yuslim, M.T., Dean of FALTL Trisakti University, presented on Green Innovation in Urban Landscape Design and Management, emphasizing the application of green innovation principles to address the challenges of rapid urbanization.

Following this, Joel Alfonso Manurung, S.T., Head of Concrete Technology at PT SCG Readymix Indonesia, delivered a talk on The Role of the Material Industry in Driving Green Transformation in the Construction Sector, exploring how the industry can contribute to sustainable development through eco-friendly material innovations.

The final session was presented by Ir. Anggia Murni, M.Ars., GP., IALI, Director and Founder of PT Tropica Greeneries, who discussed Green Buildings and Landscapes as an Integrated Design Approach, underlining the importance of merging landscape and green architecture concepts to create healthier and more livable urban environments.

The event concluded with an interactive Q&A session, allowing participants to engage directly with the speakers.

Through this seminar, the Landscape Architecture Student Association of FALTL Universitas Trisakti hopes to enhance the academic and industry community’s understanding of the importance of green innovation, the role of landscape architecture, and sustainable design in shaping the cities of the future.
