Jakarta, August 11, 2025 – Universitas Trisakti held a preliminary discussion with Shandong Taishan Management Institute, China, on Monday (11/8) at the 12th floor of Building M, Universitas Trisakti, Jakarta. This meeting marked the initial step toward establishing strategic cooperation in the fields of education, research, and human resource capacity development.

The event was attended by representatives from the leadership of both institutions, who discussed potential collaboration opportunities such as student and faculty exchange programs, joint research, and the development of internationally oriented curricula.

Representing the Rector of Universitas Trisakti, Vice Rector IV Prof. Dr. drg. Tri Erri Astoeti, M.Kes., FISDPH., FISPD stated that this initiative is part of Trisakti’s commitment to expanding its international cooperation network to prepare graduates capable of competing at the global level. Mr. Ma Fang from Shandong Taishan Management Institute welcomed the proposed partnership and expressed hope that the collaborative programs could be realized soon to bring mutual benefits.

The program continued with a presentation on History, Culture, and the Democratic Process in Indonesia by the Director of the International, Cooperation, and Cultural Affairs Office (KUIKK), Ir. Agus Guntoro, M.Si., Ph.D. During the discussion session, many questions were raised by the Chinese delegation, showing strong interest in learning more about Indonesia’s history.

This partnership is expected to serve as a gateway for academic and cultural relations between Indonesia and China, while also strengthening Universitas Trisakti’s reputation on the international stage.
