Jakarta, July 7, 2025 — The Internal Quality Assurance Agency (LPMI) of Universitas Ibnu Sina (UIS) conducted an external benchmarking visit to the Quality Assurance Agency (BJM) of Universitas Trisakti (Usakti) on Monday, July 7, 2025. This initiative aimed to strengthen internal quality assurance governance through strategic learning and institutional dialogue.

The event was officially opened by Dr. Ir. Docki Saraswati, M.Eng, IPU, Director of BJM Universitas Trisakti. In his welcoming remarks, he expressed his appreciation for the visit from UIS and provided an overview of the main duties and functions of BJM Usakti, which include the development of both academic and non-academic quality assurance systems, as well as institutional performance monitoring and evaluation within the university.

Following the opening session, the agenda continued with a discussion led by Roni Saputra, M.Si., Head of LPMI Universitas Ibnu Sina. He presented a general overview of the quality assurance system at UIS and conveyed his hope of gaining new insights from the best practices implemented at Usakti.

The discussion was active and productive, involving all BJM Usakti staff and the LPMI UIS delegation. Topics covered included organizational structure, internal quality audit implementation, preparation of quality documents, and strategies for fostering a quality culture in higher education institutions.

At the end of the session, a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) was signed to strengthen the implementation of the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI). The agreement is expected to foster constructive collaboration between both institutions in advancing their respective SPMI frameworks.

This benchmarking activity is anticipated to be a concrete step toward enhancing the effectiveness of SPMI at Universitas Ibnu Sina and strengthening collaborative networks among higher education institutions.
