Jakarta, May 30, 2025 — Cahya Restu Anjarsari, an Industrial Engineering student from the Faculty of Industrial Technology (FTI), Universitas Trisakti, has once again brought pride to Indonesia on the international stage after winning three prestigious awards at the 2025 International Youth Innovation Summit (IYIS). This prestigious event, organized by Global Youthpreneur Nusantara (GYN), took place from May 26 to 29, 2025, across two countries—Singapore and Malaysia—with key venues including the National University of Singapore (NUS), the Malaysia Tourism Center (MATIC), and the International Youth Centre (IYC) in Kuala Lumpur.

The IYIS is an annual international forum that brings together young people from around the world to share ideas, showcase innovations, and discuss solutions to global challenges. Carrying the theme “Pioneering Innovation for Sustainable Futures,” IYIS 2025 featured a wide range of activities including project presentations related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), delegate awards sessions, campus and cultural site visits, and Malaysian cultural performances. The event aims to inspire participants to become future leaders who are innovative and globally minded.

Representing Universitas Trisakti, Cahya Restu Anjarsari, a 2023 cohort student of the Industrial Engineering program, stood out with her innovative project offering tangible, sustainability-based solutions. Her outstanding performance earned her Second Best Project Innovation, Third Best Presentation, and Best Team Leader. These achievements reflect not only the quality of her innovation but also her leadership abilities and strong communication skills in presenting her ideas to an international panel.

This accomplishment serves as clear evidence that Indonesian students can compete on a global stage and make a meaningful impact through creative ideas and impactful innovations.
