Jakarta – In an effort to enhance the capacity of faculty members and students in producing high-quality and relevant scientific publications, the Faculty of Law at Universitas Trisakti held a Scientific Article Writing Training Seminar on Thursday, May 22, 2025. The event took place from 2:00 to 4:00 PM WIB at the Prof. E. Suherman Auditorium, 2nd Floor, Building H, Faculty of Law, Universitas Trisakti.

The seminar began with a report from the Head Organizer, Dr. Intan Nevia Cahyana, S.H., M.H., who outlined the objectives and expectations of the event. She emphasized that the seminar aimed to equip members of the academic community with the skills needed to produce scientific articles that are not only of high quality but also impactful—both academically and practically. The training is also part of a follow-up to the Internal Quality Audit results, particularly in efforts to maintain and improve students’ academic achievements through the development of ethical and high-quality scientific writing skills.

The seminar was officially opened by Dr. Hj. Wahyuni Retnowulandari, S.H., M.Hum., Vice Dean I of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Trisakti. In her opening remarks, she expressed appreciation for the initiative, recognizing it as an important step in improving academic quality and fostering a strong writing culture within the university environment.

The seminar featured two distinguished speakers in their respective fields:

• Prof. Dr. Irwansyah, S.H., M.H., Professor at the Faculty of Law, Hasanuddin University, and
• Ahmad Sabirin, S.H., a distinguished alumnus of Universitas Trisakti, known for publishing in internationally recognized journals such as Scopus and for speaking at numerous international academic conferences.

Prof. Irwansyah presented a session on The Theory and Practice of Writing Popular Legal Scientific Articles, while Ahmad Sabirin delivered a presentation titled Ethics and Tips for Using Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Scientific Writing.

The session was moderated by Bhatara Ibnu Reza, S.H., LL.M., Ph.D., a faculty member of the Faculty of Law at Universitas Trisakti, who is also active in academic and research circles.

This seminar is part of a series of activities supporting the Diktisaintek Berdampak program, aimed at fostering a productive, collaborative, and innovative academic climate within higher education institutions.
