Universitas Trisakti Signs MoU with PJCI (Prakarsa Jaringan Cerdas Indonesia) on the Development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Technology

On Monday, March 17, 2025, Universitas Trisakti signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Prakarsa Jaringan Cerdas Indonesia (PJCI). The agreement covers cooperation in the fields of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education—Education and Teaching, Research and Development, and Community Service—between Universitas Trisakti and both institutions.

Prakarsa Jaringan Cerdas Indonesia (PJCI) is a non-governmental organization (NGO) dedicated to preparing technological infrastructure, regulations, education, and a systematic roadmap for the implementation of Smart Grid technology in Indonesia as a solution toward a Smarter Indonesia.

The signing ceremony took place at the Paiton Room, PLN Headquarters in South Jakarta. Representing Universitas Trisakti was Prof. Dr. drg. Tri Erri Astoeti, M.Kes, Vice Rector IV, while PJCI Chairman Dr. Suroso Isnandar was represented by Daniel KF Tampubolon, Head of International Relations Department at PJCI and Vice President of Corporate IT Business Partner at PLN, which hosted the event.

Vice Rector IV of Universitas Trisakti expressed hopes that “this MoU with PJCI can be effectively implemented and pave the way for future partnerships with experts and industries in the field of Smart Grid. This collaboration is expected to foster the development of new technologies and enhance human resource capacity within Universitas Trisakti, in anticipation of the growing role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the energy and electricity sector. Universitas Trisakti is committed to continuously enhancing its capacity and contributions in Smart Grid Technology to support a Smarter Indonesia.”

The event concluded with a group photo, networking session, and an iftar gathering in celebration of the holy month of Ramadan.
