FTSP Usakti Collaborates with the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia, and the World Bank Group for the “Edge Impact Evaluation” Research Project

The Urban Settlement Study Center, Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning (FTSP), Universitas Trisakti (Usakti), held a discussion with the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Sydney, Australia, regarding a collaborative project titled Edge Impact Evaluation – Indonesia on Friday, October 4, 2024, in the Meeting Room, Building C, 1st Floor. This project is planned to last for three years, until 2026, with the primary goal of evaluating the impact of various research initiatives in the fields of infrastructure and civil planning in Indonesia. The meeting was attended by the Deanship and faculty members of FTSP Usakti, representatives from UNSW, and representatives from the World Bank Group, which will serve as a strategic partner supporting the project’s implementation and oversight.

The Dean of FTSP Usakti, Dr. Ir. A. Hadi Prabowo, S.T., M.T., emphasized that this collaboration not only offers an opportunity to enhance the quality of research and education on campus but also paves the way for a broader contribution to sustainable and environmentally friendly national infrastructure development. With the support of the World Bank Group, this project, which is expected to continue until 2026, aims to deliver concrete solutions that can be applied in various development projects across Indonesia, while also strengthening the positions of Universitas Trisakti and UNSW as influential academic institutions in advancing global research development.
