The Business Incubator Development Center (PPIB) of the Research and Community Service Institute (LPPM) at Universitas Trisakti welcomed a benchmarking visit from the Institute of Transportation and Logistics (ITL) Trisakti on Wednesday, July 31, 2024. The delegation from ITL Trisakti was led by Vice Rector III, Dr. Aang Gunawan, AMTrD., M.M., and the event was also attended by the director of LPPM Universitas Trisakti, Prof. Dr. Ir. Astri Rinanti, S.Si., MT, IPM., ASEAN Eng.

The visit began with remarks by Dr. Aang Gunawan, who explained that the purpose of the benchmarking was to learn about the strategies, methods, and practices implemented by PPIB Usakti in fostering entrepreneurial skills among students. The visit was received by the Vice Director for Community Service, Dr. Ir. Mohammad Ischak, M.T., who introduced the team and highlighted PPIB Usakti’s flagship programs.

The event continued with a presentation by the Head of PPIB, Emelia Sari, S.T., M.T., Ph.D., who outlined the various programs and achievements of PPIB Usakti. This was followed by an interactive discussion between both parties, exploring potential collaborations and future entrepreneurship program development. The event concluded with a visit to the PPIB Usakti Gallery, where participants had the opportunity to directly observe various innovative products created by students under the incubator’s guidance.

It is hoped that this visit will serve as the beginning of a closer collaboration between ITL Trisakti and Universitas Trisakti, particularly in entrepreneurship development and the enhancement of entrepreneurship education quality in Indonesia.
