Jakarta – Universitas Trisakti held a series of events for PKKMB (Introduction to Campus Life for New Students) 2024. This event is considered the first step in getting to know the academic and campus environment.

“This activity is the first step for you to get to know the academic world better and to develop your potential in the campus environment of Universitas Trisakti. Take advantage of this event to broaden your horizons and get to know Universitas Trisakti more deeply,” said the Rector of Universitas Trisakti, Prof. Dr. Ir. Kadarsah Suryadi, in a written statement received on Saturday (August 24, 2024).

The event, themed ‘Welcoming Young Trisakti Towards a Progressive and Achieving Personality,’ was held over two days, from August 23-24, 2024. The event was attended by several new students from various study programs, members of the Foundation, the Rectorate, staff, and faculty members. Various activities were organized to prepare new students for their new educational journey.

In addition to campus orientation sessions, PKKMB also featured motivational activities led by professional speakers and alumni, as well as an introduction to student organizations at the university and faculty levels. It was noted that the new students were enthusiastic about participating in the events, which ran from morning until late afternoon.

On the same occasion, Vice Rector III for Student Affairs, Ir. Yoska Oktaviano, M.T., stated that this major agenda for new students was prepared to help them develop their potential in both academic and non-academic fields.

“We have prepared a major agenda for these new students. Through the available platforms at Universitas Trisakti, we hope to explore and develop student potential. This is also aimed at eliminating indications of bullying within Trisakti University. So, we have created positive and enjoyable activities that also have elements of achievement, even at the international level, so that students can further develop themselves in a positive direction,” he explained.
