Students from the Faculty of Dentistry (FKG) Universitas Trisakti have once again made a proud achievement at the international level during the 50th Asia Pacific Dental Student Association (APDSA) Annual Congress held in Bangkok, Thailand, from August 1-5, 2024. The FKG Usakti student team was the only university to win in all competition categories, defeating various dental faculties both from Indonesia and abroad, as follows:

• 1st Place in the Research Competition: Shinta Setiawati, supervised by Dr. Drg. Meiny Faudah Amin, Sp.KG., SubspKR(K) and Drg. Taufiq Ariwibowo, Sp.KG., SubspKR(K). The 2nd place was taken by a representative from Japan, and the 3rd place by UGM.
• 1st Place in APDAXc: Syarifah Aulia Maulina, Jeff Tjokro, and Aretha Salim Andri Putri. This team won 3rd place in the same category at the 49th APDSA in Bali, Indonesia, in 2023. In 2024, the 2nd place was taken by a team from Cambodia, and the 3rd place by a team from Hong Kong.
• 2nd Place in the Clinical Competition: Venesia Suwandi. The 1st place was taken by Singapore, and the 3rd place by Vietnam.
• Top Ten Best Paper: Tiffany Hartono, supervised by Drg. Ferry Sandra, PhD, and Drg. Ria Aryani, MSc. Tiffany Hartono was the International President of APDSA in 2023.

FKG Usakti students are always active in participating in activities and competitions both domestically and internationally. This achievement demonstrates the ability of FKG Usakti students to compete both within and outside of Indonesia.
