The Faculty of Industrial Technology (FTI) Universitas Trisakti welcomed a delegation from the Karawang Engineering Entrepreneurs Association (APEK) on Thursday, July 25, 2024, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM in the main meeting room on the 3rd floor of the Hery Hartanto Building, Campus A, Universitas Trisakti. The collaboration between FTI Usakti and APEK has actually been ongoing for 10 years, with several lecturers and students participating in academic activities with APEK members, both for research and community service.

Both parties agreed to enhance the performance and benefits of the collaboration, which is mutually advantageous. Academics will gain access to actual industry issues, particularly related to the accelerated adoption of Industry 4.0 Technology and the improvement of lecturers’ and graduates’ competencies. Meanwhile, APEK hopes that this cooperation will enhance the performance and excellence of APEK-affiliated industries, which are generally suppliers and vendors for Multi National Companies located in and around Karawang.

The cooperation agreement (MoA) was signed by the Dean of FTI Usakti, Prof. Dr. Ir. Rianti Dewi Wulansari, ST M.Eng IPM, and the Chairman of APEK, Ir. Budi Priatna, MBA, witnessed by the Secretary General of APEK, Iswandi ST, and the Daily Chairman, Ir. Soeroyo Prihantono, who is also the Chairman of ASIMPI (Indonesian Machine Tool Association).
