Webinar on Human Capital Management News from FEB Usakti
To ensure that company HR can understand, appreciate, and motivate employees from various generations to effectively achieve common goals, the Master’s Program in Management Universitas Trisakti held a Human Capital Management Webinar with the theme “Managing Multi-Generation Workforce.” This event took place on Friday, June 21, 2024, online via Zoom and was attended by over 200 participants.
The Secretary of the Master’s Program in Management at FEB Universitas Trisakti, Dr. Kurniawati, MM., CMA., CPM (Asia), opened the webinar and delivered a speech. She highlighted the importance of understanding generational differences in the workplace to create a productive and harmonious environment. She emphasized the need for specific strategies to manage these differences and the importance of effective and inclusive communication within multi-generational teams.
Isdar Andre Marwan, Commercial Director of Mercer and Mercer Marsh Benefit Indonesia, also spoke at the webinar. He discussed strategic human resource management with a focus on generational differences, such as Generation X, Millennials, and Gen Z, in the context of modern organizations. The material covered attractive recruitment strategies for each generation, employee development approaches considering generational preferences and values, and adaptive performance management to leverage the unique strengths of each generation. The discussion included how to adjust compensation and benefits policies, as well as technology that supports cross-generational collaboration. Case studies and best practices were introduced to showcase successful approaches to managing generational diversity to enhance employee well-being and organizational productivity.
It is hoped that this webinar provided participants with a deep understanding of the importance of Human Capital Management (HCM) in a generational context, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to effectively manage human resources in future work environments.
