Monita Angelica Maharani Tahalea, is a singer and songwriter born on July 21, 1987. Monita began her career after making it to the spectacular round of Indonesia Idol in the second season in 2005. With her distinctive voice, Monita managed to become the fourth champion in Indonesia Idol and to this day has released five solo albums and six compilation albums. Monita herself is an alumni of the Faculty of Arts and Design Universitas Trisakti.
