CEO MEDIA GROUP

Born in Makassar on August 7, 1976, this individual is an alumna of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Trisakti, Class of 1994. Mirdal began his career as an Auditor at one of the world’s largest accounting firms, Deloitte. Then, in 1999, Mirdal was entrusted with building Metro TV, from managing design systems, standard operating procedures (SOPs), to company workflows. After gaining extensive experience in the television industry, Mirdal was eventually appointed as CEO of Media Group in 2019.

The pinnacle of Mirdal’s career came when he won an award as one of the best CEOs in Indonesia in 2021 according to SWA Media. SWA Media at that time recognized Mirdal for his ability to lead the company out of crisis despite being in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. In addition to serving as CEO of Media Group, Mirdal also serves as Chairman of the Surya Edukasi Bangsa Foundation, the first foundation in Indonesia to provide online scholarships for Indonesian children.
