On Tuesday, April 2, 2024, the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning Universitas Trisakti executed the signing of a strategic cooperation with the University of Technology Sarawak (UTS) based in Malaysia. This collaboration marks a significant step forward in strengthening academic collaboration and knowledge exchange in the fields of civil engineering and planning between the two institutions.

The signing ceremony, held at Universitas Trisakti campus in Jakarta, was attended by Dr. Ir. A. Hadi Prabowo, Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning, and Dr. Wong Chih Siong, Deputy Dean of the School of Built Environment at the University of Technology Sarawak.

The event was attended by leaders and representatives from both universities. In his speech, Dr. Ir. A. Hadi Prabowo, MT, Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning Universitas Trisakti, stated that this cooperation would bring significant benefits to students and faculty members of both universities in terms of knowledge exchange, collaborative research, and development of relevant curriculum aligned with current industry demands.

Universitas Trisakti and the University of Technology Sarawak have also agreed to collaborate on Joint Research, Joint Workshops, Joint Studios, Joint Classes, Exchange Students, and Exchange Lectures. This is expected to make a significant contribution to addressing global challenges in the field of civil engineering and planning.

This cooperation also provides opportunities for students to participate in exchange programs between universities, opening doors for them to gain learning experiences and cultural exposure in an international academic environment.
