The Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning (FTSP) of Universitas Trisakti held a celebration event to commemorate the 58th anniversary of Universitas Trisakti. The event also served as a moment for the handover of the anniversary activities to the Faculty of Industrial Technology, which will be in charge of the 59th anniversary of Universitas Trisakti.

In the celebration event held at the Auditorium of Building C, 9th Floor, Universitas Trisakti on Wednesday (21/03), academic community members, students, and other invited guests were present. The event was filled with various activities such as speeches from university leaders, cultural performances, and the highlight of the event, the symbolic handover of the anniversary implementation.

The Head of the 58th Anniversary Committee of Universitas Trisakti, Dr. Ir. A. Hadi Prabowo, MT., also expressed gratitude for the support and participation of all parties who contributed to the success of this event. He hoped that this moment could ignite a new spirit to continue to work and achieve for the entire academic community of Universitas Trisakti. In the previous 58th anniversary, the Faculty of Medicine emerged as the overall champion, while the Faculty of Economics and Business and the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning ranked second and third, respectively.

The Rector of Universitas Trisakti, Prof. Dr. Ir. Kadarsah Suryadi, DEA., in his speech, expressed that the essence of the Anniversary is to reflect on what Usakti experienced 58 years ago.

“Yesterday is history, and we already have a history, which is yesterday for 58 years, while Today is a gift. Today, we have a Blessing because Trisakti still stands tall on our land, and of course, every Anniversary besides reflecting on the past history and also being grateful for today’s Blessings, we also certainly support the future full of mystery,” said the Rector of Universitas Trisakti, Prof. Dr. Ir. Kadarsah Suryadi, DEA.

“Therefore, Ladies and Gentlemen, the Anniversary is also a very important moment for us in terms of 3 points. The first is reflection or self-evaluation of our past. Tomorrow, practically, what we have experienced should be continued and improved. The second is celebrating our joy and happiness because we have the blessings we receive today, and the third is certainly preparing for the future to increase the spirit of working, the spirit of advancing Usakti, and the spirit of serving the nation and country,” he concluded.
