From March 5th to 8th, 2024, the Quality Assurance Team of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Trisakti (FEB Usakti) conducted benchmarking related to quality assurance to 3 (three) universities, namely Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University (UNISSA), Brunei Darussalam University (UBD), and Brunei Technology University (UTB). The agenda was conducted concurrently with benchmarking carried out by several study programs within the scope of FEB Usakti.

Benchmarking conducted at Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University (UNISSA) took place on March 6th, 2024, and was received by the Rector and Vice Dean of the Faculty of Islamic and Finance. Benchmarking conducted at Brunei Darussalam University took place on March 7th, 2024, and was received by the Dean and Deputy Dean (Research) of the School of Business and Economics (SBE). Furthermore, benchmarking conducted at Brunei Technology University was received by the Dean and Programme Leader within the School of Business UTB.

Discussions emphasized the strategies and efforts of internationalization that have been undertaken. Currently, UNISSA is one of the universities accredited by the ASEAN University Network (AUN), UTB is ranked 162nd in Asia and 1st in Brunei according to the QS Sustainability Rankings 2024, 387th in the QS World University Rankings 2024, 62nd in the QS Asia University Rankings 2024, 401-500 in Business & Economics according to The World University Rankings by Subject 2024, and UTB is ranked 340th in the US World University Ranking, QS 5 Stars, and Top 50 QS World University Rankings. The results of benchmarking will be used in formulating improvements in the internationalization performance of FEB Usakti.
