In an effort to strengthen ties with the surrounding community and expand partnership networks, the Rector of Trisakti University, Prof. Dr. Ir. Kadarsah Suryadi, DEA officially opened the Universitas Trisakti Bazaar on Thursday, February 29, 2024. The opening event was attended by Febiandri Suharto, Head of the West Jakarta Economy Department, including representatives from the local community, industry partners, and students. This event also collaborated with the Department of Industry, Trade, Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises, and the Mayor of West Jakarta.

The purpose of this bazaar is to provide a platform for local entrepreneurs to promote their products and services, while also introducing various initiatives and activities carried out by Universitas Trisakti to the surrounding community. With the theme “Celebrating Creativity and Innovation together with Usakti,” this event provides an opportunity for participants to interact directly and generate beneficial collaborations, enhancing understanding of the university’s role in local economic development.

In addition to product and service exhibitions, the Universitas Trisakti Bazaar also features various interesting activities such as talk shows, workshops, and art performances involving students from the Student Activities Unit for Arts and Culture as well as the Usakti Drum Corps and the surrounding community. This event is expected to be a momentum for strengthening mutually beneficial relationships between the university, the community, and industry partners. The Universitas Trisakti Bazaar lasts for 2 days, and it is hoped to be a good start for closer and sustainable cooperation between Universitas Trisakti and various parties in the surrounding environment.
