The Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning (FTSP) Universitas Trisakti (Usakti) once again organized the 11th Young Intellectual Seminar on February 12, 2024, at Auditorium Building C. In her opening remarks, Usakti Vice Rector 1, Prof. Ir. Asri Nugrahanti, M.S., Ph.D., IPU., ASEAN.Eng, expressed that FTSP facilitates students to showcase their abilities in front of speakers to better follow ongoing trends in the professional world. The event was also attended by the Dean of FTSP along with his staff, lecturers, and students.
In addition to the presentations from the speakers, this seminar also served as a platform for a student scientific work competition. After the students presented their scientific work, the top 2 presenters were selected from each parallel session, resulting in a total of 12 best presenters. This seminar was moderated by Gierlang Bhakti Putra, S.T., M.Sc., with the speakers being:
1. Dr. Ir. Tulus Widiarso, M.T (Lecturer at FTSP Usakti)
2. Ulfa Fatmasari Faisal, M.T (Lecturer at FTSP Usakti)
3. Ar. Andesha Hermintomo, S.T (Co-Founder of Rame Rame Jakarta, FTSP Usakti alumni)
This seminar provided a valuable opportunity for students to delve into topics that are relevant and important in the context of future development. With a focus on the integration of creative design and social responsibility, as well as sustainability, this seminar opened the door to in-depth discussions, exchange of ideas, and collaboration among enthusiastic and innovative students. Through a deeper understanding of how design can be a tool for building inclusive communities and sustainable environments, participants are expected to generate more holistic and long-term impactful solutions. Hopefully, this seminar not only provides new insights but also serves as a catalyst for concrete steps in realizing positive changes in social and spatial development in the future.
